The Song In Your Head (Part 1)

Scripture: Philippians 4:8

- It is easy to think negative thoughts than positive ones

1. You are what you think (Proverbs 23:7)

- thinking positive does not equal to faith

- Actions and words are reflections of what's on inside ( Mark 7:20 - 23)

- Becoming like Jesus is not only about copying Him, but changing the inside

- Deal with the thought and the action will follow

- Romans 12:1-2

-We should not think like our worldly friends

-The Holy Spirit causes the change, he breaks my old bondages

- It's possible to revert back to our old habits

2. The Challenge to Sanctify my Thought life

- Proverbs 4:23 ( do not be passive about your though life and do not let anything get and go through your hear and you mind.

- set a lie/gossip detector

- when i do not guard my heart I see everything through dirty lenses

- 2 Corinthians 10: 2-5

- How do you teach your thoughts to obey Christ?

- Faith is trusting God in the middle of doubts

- Filter what we feed into our minds
